The following facilities are medical centers that SDSF recommends for treatment of Shwachman Diamond Syndrome. These are hospitals that have doctors who are knowledgeable of SDS and some of these doctors are even on our Medical Advisory Board. Each center will arrange appointments as needed for hematology, GI, endocrinology, orthopedics and more. These SDS experts will draw up a patient care plan for the patient to take home to their own physicians who routinely follow them.
